The Northern Frontier Foundation aims to assist the future wellbeing of those in our society who themselves possess the abilities and drive to succeed, but not necessarily the means. In doing so, they will make a difference to their own lives, their family and their community. The Northern Frontier Foundation will focus on supporting individuals and communities creating a genuine impact on long-term benefit for all in Far North Queensland.
For over 30 years, Dean has been a strong supporter of charitable causes in Far North Queensland through his business Trinity Petroleum Services Pty Ltd (Trinity), providing funds to schools, hospitals, sporting groups and clubs. Early in 2018 Dean sold Trinity to Idemitsu International Pte Ltd of Japan. A large portion of the sale proceeds have been set aside to establish the initial equity used to establish NFF.
Linda is a Chartered Accountant with over 22 years experience. She brings a wealth of accounting and business knowledge in her previous role as the Financial Controller of Trinity Petroleum. Linda has raised her four children in the Far North Queensland region and is passionate about her local community.
Peter is a Civil Engineer with 40 years’ experience, a large portion as a Senior Executive of Australia’s largest construction group Cimic Ltd (then Leighton Holdings Ltd). Peter today is semi-retired, sitting on the board of Kidney Health Australia. For many years, he has been a strong financial supporter and facilitator of projects he has personally funded in North East Arnhem land Indigenous communities. A strong supporter of the establishment of AFL in Queensland, Peter was a Principal Shareholder and Director of the Brisbane Bears AFL club relocating the “Bears” from Carrera to the Gabba in the early 1990’s.
In professional life, Michael is an Accountant and one of the Principal Partners of Pacifica Accountants, a Cairns-based Accounting and Audit Business. Michael himself is a passionate community contributor, and sits on various community Boards including the Finance Council of the Catholic Diocese for Far North Queensland. He is also a committed Rotarian and has supported many local sporting and charitable organisations over many years.
